There has to be a programmatic way to cope with this. It's on the edge of too much.

    Hi Sharon,

We are working on it now, I apologize for the annoyance, and we should have
it fixed soon. Thanks for your patience.

Yes we agree it's over the edge, we're trying to fix the problem right now. Most of the issue was created by two accounts, which I've deleted. Please be patient with us as we work on it.

    Hi Connie,

I know you guys are over the edge with this. I just wanted to make sure of something - in the multitudes of spam, all are addressed to tammyvb and they are being replied to from maxwell hoffman, sharon burton, etc. It's all addressees on the techwhirl-list that are affected right? It looks like to me that I am the one sending the spam and people are replying to me. does that make sense?

    Hi Tammy,

That's the way it appears to me as well, but it's not you sending the spam.
It was coming from mostly two email accounts, which I deleted, and another
account where I reset preferences. I'm hoping this will take care of the
issue, but let me know if you continue to see this. It is only email
    addresses on the list.

    Thanks for being patient....

    Hi Connie,

So, you're saying that my email account was one of the accounts that looked like as if it was sending spam and that the multitudes of whirlers got emails "FROM" my address?

    Connie,

I am still getting replies from people to me indicating that something is still not fixed. Please see below.

Hmm, only the standard footer material, and a link to your comment is
displaying, not sure what you're referring to.

No, as far as I can tell the spam looked like it was coming from the two
accounts I deleted, but it's if you replied to the post, then everyone got
the reply. When viewed from my email client, it looks like I might be
sending the junk, but when you look at it online, you can see that it's
another post in the list for that topic.

    Hope that helps a bit...
